ND might not beat any of the three, but that's why the game's gonna get played. If Bama crushes ND, then they deserve to be ranked 4th or even lower. I have ZERO soft spot for SEC homerism. A lot of that is the constant need to qualify self doubt: "if we were in any other conference, we'd be killing it in recruiting/W's"; "that team couldn't win in the SEC"; "this coach can't compete with SEC coaches"… blah blah blah! If we were successful and going to BCS games, we wouldn't say things like "so glad we are sharing our BCS game winnings with the other schools in the league".

I hope ND delivers a pelvic crushing to Bama. Obviously the recent success of the SEC hasn't helped our financial situation. We still found a way to wind up with less than $2mil in the bank. Bottom line, you win and that's all that matters. You lose, even one, and somebody else helps control your fate. Feels pretty lonely. So to heck with the rest of the SEC… and Franklin's homerism.
