Surprised a bit that he didnt have a better spring after getting PT last year. He might be behind:
Couch
McCullers
Hood
Clark
Its only his 2nd year though and usually NGs are not playing even then.

Even if he doesnt become a stud, we still need quality depth along the D-Line, and the fact he played as a true freshman suggests that he is at least good enough to provide that. It would bode well for us if he continues to pick up playing time, even with the new guys coming in. We dont just need depth, we need quality depth to compete in this league.
