"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
Yes. Huge Grizzlies fan and love the way were playing right now. This team is dangerous, good enough to contend for the Westen conference title IMO. Just hope we can do better in the playoffs and make up for that bad series last year. Also have to say TNT over ESPN.
"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama"
Memphis is rock solid to say the least. Can play with any team in the west. 7 games vs them will not be fun for anybody. I think that might be Memphis' best quality. They are not fun to play against. Like the bulls. As the opposing team you do not come in vs Memphis and celebrate the fact that you are playing them. You know it is going to be a physical war all night.
I'm a huge NBA fan. My dad raised me on the Celtics. I'm only 23, but I've been a Celtics fan since 1997. I remember watching Paul Pierce get drafted. The Celtics are really the only team that I keep up with as much as I do with Tennessee football/basketball. I live in Memphis so I'm also a pretty big Grizzlies fan. I usually will pull for them as long as they aren't playing the Celtics. The C's are struggling this year but I have a feeling that Danny Ainge is going to make some pretty big roster moves before the trade deadline. And everyone knows the Grizzlies are really good. I think they will make a serious run in the playoffs. It just sucks for them because the Western Conference is so deep. Plus, they match up horribly with the Clippers. Hopefully someone can eliminate the Clips before the Grizzlies have to face them. And as far as the Celtics go, I may be a bit biased but I know this team. They will turn the jets on when they have to. They always do. I predict a rematch between them and the Heat in the Eastern Conference finals.
+1 Kevdharr. I am also a Celtics fan, but go back a little farther than you. I started liking the C's during the John "Hondo" Havilicek/Jo Jo White/Dave Cowens era. Havlicek was awesome to watch! After that era ended, the Celtics went through some down times until a guy named Bird showed up!
Even though i don't follow the NBA like I do the Vols or Vikings, I love the Celtics!
"Old School"! A strong defense wins championships!
Huge Spurs fan. My mom's family is from San Antonio and I was born there, the Spurs are huge down there. Timmy D is my favorite athlete of all time and David Robinson was awesome to watch growing up.
I like the Grizz but, don't get to see them here that much. We get Orlando which, most of the time is shitty, just like my Jaguars lol.
