Tennessee on Sunday lost a great chance to make the SEC baseball race even more interesting, but Vols coach Dave Serrano wasn't too down after an 8-1 loss to No. 4 Florida.

Mississippi St., Auburn, Vandy, Ole Miss, and Arkansas are all going to be important series down the back stretch of the SEC schedule. There's a lot of teams hovering around that .500 mark in SEC play so far.

yeah, and he has certainly done a good job re-energizing the fan base.. For example, i never used to really follow the baseball team... this is the first year i have showed interest in them, typically i only follow football and mens bball.....

He has certainly put the program back on the right track. It's now just a matter of time until he gets a few of his recruiting classes in here, once that happens I think they will be contenders in the SEC as well as prominent in the national picture.
