So, Jimmy Hyams has lifted his embargo

The names he listed in no particular order are:
Gruden
Mora, Jr
Strong
Golden
Stoops
Fisher
Talked a little about Petrino, but said like Gruden the chances are "less than 33%". I like the list, although I'm not sold on Golden yet. If I had to rank them myself it would probably be:
Gruden
Stoops
Mora
Strong
Golden
Fisher (Jimmy says he thinks Auburn will go hard after Fisher).

Stoops interests me the most. Proven at the college level. Gruden is more of a risk in my humble opinion.

Stoops is the perfect candidate IMO. Defensive minded coach that is as proven as proven gets.

This guy was on my original list that I posted and after last night he has moved to the top - find out what it would take to get David Shaw to come to Knoxville. Having said that, I doubt he leaves Stanford because that has been his dream job for years.

One of the best football coaches in America. I told my wife several weeks ago that if he came to recruit my son I'd have a hard time telling my son to go anywhere else. I like him at Stanford. He's a great fit there and he's great for college football.

Agree 100% on Stoops. I've been quietly on his bandwagon for a while now. Bring Bobby back to the SEC.

Shaw is a Stanford guy. If he goes anywhere it will be the NFL but I see him at Stanford for a long time. Fear the Tree!!!

I read so much stuff on Twitter last night but someone like Pat Forde I believe was saying the same thing that Stanford was his dream job.

Seems like a good coach, but currently making 2.4 mill. I would imagine UCLA would increase to keep him and he is pretty much a west coast guy, so I'm not sure how seriously he would consider coming. But you are right, money usually talks.
