Interesting move for the Browns. Chip is going to need the right qb... I just don't know if the Browns are going to target the right qb for CK to have success in the NFL. Thank goodness the owner is trying everything in his power to make UT's schedule a little easier next year.... J/K

This is a good move by Haslam.... The browns have nothing to lose, they have been bad for a while... They might as well try something different...

Maybe this will give us a chance in the Oregon game next year.

This news would certainly bode well for the Vols this fall. And ol' Kelly may just liven up the NFL a little. It would certainly be interesting to see pros buy in and execute that system.

The only reason I see Kelly failing is if he doesn't get a good qb. But this can be said for 28/32 coaches in the league for the most part. Without a good to great qb you are not going to win. I also think that the system has a chance to win in the league as the myth about the league is that they have to be able under the center as that was the knock on Cam Newton that he was never under center but in the league he is almost never under center or not as much as quarterbacks were 5-10 years ago.

Some have been questioning if his system would work.... Comparable systems ARE working. Just watch that NFC game with RGIII and RWilson! I'm not a fan of either team, but that was an exciting game! Also, look at Koepernick in SF and Newton in Carolina! IMO, the NFL is gradually accepting these types of offenses. Not saying NFL will go away from Pro Style completely, but is using the Pistol a lot more. Kelly would succeed with the right players. That being said, good luck Haslam, you'll need it!!

I think the Carolina job not opening sealed his fate.. Would have been the one place where they already have the tools he would need to run his system and they chose not to fire Rivera..
