Stat that sums up Dooley

In 3 years at UT, Dooley has accounted for 9.3% of UT's all-time SEC losses. That is mind boggling when you consider UT has been in the SEC since 1933.

Did the math. We have 192 losses all-time in the SEC and Dooley has 18 of them.

(3) 1-13 in last 14 SEC Games
(4) Worst SEC Home Loss, in UT History
(5) Worst Non-conference Home Loss, in UT History
(6) Worst Tennessee Defense in History
(7) Lost to Kentucky for first time in 26 years
(8) 0-24 versus ranked teams in his history
(9) 0-12 versus Florida, Georgia, Bama, South Carolina
(10) Only win in SEC over past 15 games was overtime win against Vandy
(11) Has only one more conference win in 3 years than Kiffin had in 1 year, and only 1 more in 3 years than Fulmer had the year he got fired
(12) Took him only 2 and 1/2 years to amass more conference losses than Phil Fulmer had in his first 10 combined years.
Dooley certainly is leaving a legacy here in Knoxville.

I think he actually has the same amount of conference wins as Kiffin had in 1 year. Kiffin went 4-4 in the SEC here.

The flip side of this, wins, he's only contributed to 1% of all conference wins. In contrast, Fulmer contributed 4.8% of all-time SEC wins in his first 3 years.
Also, Fulmer's first 3 years contributed to 2.6% of all-time SEC losses.
This is just a different way of breaking everything down I guess. It's easy to look at just # of wins and losses but if you look at it in the grand scheme of UT football and how it impacts the University's history and legacy, it really puts it into perspective.
