Man Mountain would be a heck of a dude to get vocal and fired up. Who would not do what Big Dan asks of them? I still quiver a little every time I see his picture. Nice story Wes. GO VOLS!

I just always paint a picture in my mind of what it must of looked like on the sidelin when he clotheslined Borque to send him home last season!

Or in the Zoo at Autzen Stadium! Love to see him do it to that little DeAnthony Thomas kid. Would be AWESOME! "The Black Mamba meets the Man Mountain and gets decapitated" What a headline that would read!

In my mind I have this memory of Big Dan, can't remember the game........but between plays AJ came up to Dan and was telling him something...you could see AJ's animation..he was raising his arms, and in Dan's ear hole telling him something. Next play Big Dan blew up the center of the line and somebody got a TFL. Wish I could remember who....it was freakin' awesome. You get this guy motivated/aggravated/pissed off, nobody can stop him. GO VOLS

This young man went home to talk to his family. Good family behind him and a whole Vol Nation give him love. He will get an education now and millions after next season. Very smart and very appreciated.

Hate to say it, but Big Dan will be doubled and tripled next year until others step up and apply consistent pressure. With Sentimore gone, that leaves MoCouch and Hood as the returners with real experience. Maybe Smith can develop into a real end, but I haven't see a lot to make me believe yet. I like him, but he has gotten burnt a lot. Look forward to seeing Johnson, Maggitt at full health, and Harris at LB's. My goodness if we could sign Lawson, Bellamy, Bell, and Foster!! Doesn't hurt to hope! Vols!!
