Steve Stripling said he had a “great” vacation this offseason. It lasted all of one day. Tennessee's new defensive line coach had to hit the ground running, and he knew it.

like the fact they didnt leave cincinnati players high and dry..and all the coaches seems to be excited to be at tenn..they have there work cut out for them the next 5 years..but it looks bright from here...thanks wes
Hopefully Stripling turns McCullers into a first round pick to pay him back for returning. The future of each of these guys and Tennessee's defense will depend heavily on the D-line's production this year.
This man has his work cut out for him. I wish I thought it was going to be easier, but this could be even more challenging to improve than the secondary. A secondary can be pretty good, but if there is no pressure from the D-line or the D-line never stops the runners, then it makes LB's, CB's, and safeties work a lot harder. I wish him the best, obviously, and I am thankful that he has so much experience to bring to this D-line group. Vols!!
This staff just really seems to GET IT when it comes to selling the traditions and Power T brand that is Big Orange. I'm more excited than the day CBJ was hired.
Its not a stupid question until you ask it.

New UT assistant head coach Steve Stripling speaks with the media Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at the Neyland-Thompson Sports Complex on the campus of the University of Tennessee. Stripling formerly held the same coaching position under Butch Jones at Cincinnati and became interim head coach after Jones left to come to UT.
Your team. All the time.
I love the way this whole Coaching Staff likes to pick the peoples' minds that have been around the program. They have a lot of confidence but don't seem to carry big egos. I like it. GO VOLS!
