Seriously. Unless there's something we don't know, the AD is completely looking over a viable candidate. I've said Tuberville needs a nod this whole time. Quoting my earlier posts:

Judging by his record at Auburn, we'd be competing for the SEC East and have a shot at a New Year's bowl (or better) almost every year. He's not perfect but he'd be better than most, Petrino's instability included. He also got a rawer deal than Fulmer did. Excluding his debut at Auburn in 1999, his only losing season was in 2008, the year he "resigned". 2007 saw Auburn a runner-up in the SEC West and a win in the Peach Bowl. That was also the year that we lost to LSU in the SEC Championship and beat Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl, however Fulmer had another losing season just three years prior to his 2008 termination. He's also 4-2 in head-to-head matchups against Sata... er, Nick Saban, and doesn't have a history of pissing off the NCAA.

It's time that Hart makes this one happen.

I think the board of trustees of the UT system would be the ones to fire Cheek. I don't know if the governor would be involved at all.

No one said UT got played. Yes, Strong used the UT job offer to get more money. Our AD Jurich had already laid it out there that money would be no object. Most Louisville fans knew Strong was going to use this as leverage for a huge raise. UL has made it clear they're committed to having a top notch footbal program.
BTW, our stadium holds 55,000 all chairback seating. I know that doesn't compare to Neyland but I seen on here where a poster said we had only 40,000.

I've got to tell you, this one hurt.
I wanted Coach Strong 4 years ago when we hired Kiffin. He was my first choice three years ago when we hired Dooley. I knew he was not going to get the job both times because of his lack of head coaching experience the first time and he had just signed with you guys when we got Dooley.
I believe Coach Strong is the "real deal" and has unlimited potential.
If I'dve been running this show, the day after your last game I would've been at his house with a dozen roses, a box of candy and a BOXCAR load of $100.00 bills.
