I got one more for ya FSU is 2-1 against florida....Fisher is 3-1 against quality sec teams thats what we need someone who can beat them. Not anyone else on these top targets can say that as a HC

I think he is a good coach. However, I think many people would expect that, given the massive recruiting base, all the top recruiting classes he's had (to his credit), incredible brand awareness of FSU among young football players (think ESPN named the FSU helmet the most recognizable in America), weaker conference than SEC, etc., that he would have won a national title (or at least played for one). Right or wrong (and perhaps wrong - to be fair), there is a perception that he should have done better with the four aces he was dealt recruiting and conference-wise. He is definitely an upgrade over Dooley though.

Think about this when considering Jimbo. He has not done anything spectacular in a weak conference with top 5 recruiting classes.
If he leaves, FSU will hire a very dynamic coach who will get all those Florida kids excited and he will not scratch the surface on Florida recruits. Ever thought about who might replace him at FSU? That would be a job that would attract the same 2nd tier coaches we are after.
