Notice how his puts spin on the ball depending on which hash he is on. Also, notice the immediate height he gets on every kick. Also notice the short compact motion. GREAT technique.

That's very impressive. It looks like he has a natural fade to his kicks, which is a bit unusual since most kickers seem to hook more often.
I wish i could do that with my 8-iron!

I remember an almost identical video of Palardy nailing 50+ yarders in the FL wind when he was a recruit...not to kill the buzz..sorry
seriously though, glad this guys coming to Knoxville. Him and Bullock should give Palardy a run for his money. Competition is key!

That fade did look unusual but he was definitely accurate with it. +1 to atlemoryvol for the nice find

From what I saw, if you look at his first 2 kicks from the left hash, he had a slight draw. Then all of the remaining kicks on the video were right hash or center...and then he had a fade.
I thought he was switching between the two on purpose.

What I noticed is he didn't stick his foot in the ground and dig up a big divot before he hit the ball.

Yeah, he used an unusual technique with which we are not familiar of putting the foot directly into the ball instead of the ground!
I bet Gantz wouldn't knock at least one out of every four kickoffs out of bounds, either.
Palardy AND Bullock will definitely need to step up their game with this kid on campus. He will be big-time motivated, too, trying to earn that scholarship.

Let's not forget about Bullock either...from what I hear he's made a full recovery from that freak leg break. A long-time friend of mine that lives in K'ville & knows Bullock's family pretyy well keeps raving about this kid. Just more competition & we'll see who comes out on top?
BtW, wonder why more of these kicking recruit highlight videos are not showing the kickers in full pads/helmet...gotta be a fairly big difference vs kicking in shorts & a T-shirt??

It's dead down wind too. You can tell by watching the back of his shirt. That being said, still looks better than wat we got
