Seems what really is going on, and what UT is leting the media know are two totally different things. They are in total spin control right now. It's not going to help though. If it indeed was over last week with Gruden why not come out and say something before this thing gained speed. Gruden is indeed prob not coming, and Ut Admin does not want people to know that they could have had him.
They've effectively sabotaged the next coach. The other coaches are good coaches, but it will be like they're getting sloppy seconds. Don't think this ordeal has went very smoothly

I agree with you. I was talking about the Hyams tweet saying it was over last week. If you get this far into negotiations with Gruden, you have to close the deal. Because if not you've wasted precious time that could have been spent on other leads. There's only 2 weekends left to recruit. This thing needs to be doneby first of next week regardless

Don't worry about downvotes, Stoneboro. They can happen by accident sometimes. I've done it myself. Just ask one of our other posters, who received her first downvote from me a couple months ago.
Haha! Stoneboro- I can attest these accidental downvotes sometimes happen. I was only taking Ryan's sde over Wes's when he "rewarded" me with my first ever downvote. It's something I don't let him forget (ever).
