I've always thought that for every concern we may have about Gruden's transition to college coaching, be it strategically, can be squashed by what we know we will get in terms of motivation, energy and enthusiasm. The man can flat-out motivate players to big wins.
One thing about Dooley's teams, they were constantly trying to get 'over that hump.' We knew we had the talent to beat good teams, but we never did. It was cited too many times, how we didn't believe we could win. We just hoped we could.
I have to wonder how many wins Gruden would have achieved in 2012 /w this Vols roster?
