Everyone keep it respectful, Tee is a VFL and a great former player. We as fans would love to have him here, but if in fact he does stay at his job in Cali, then we have to respect his decision and support our VOLS no matter where they are.
I for one will always cheer on our VOLS wherever they play or coach and the only time I don't want them to succeed is when they are up against the Big Orange.

He has an opportunity to coach a Heisman Trophy winner. Can't say that I blame him. Maybe after Jones has us competing at a high level, he'll feel more comfortable returning to UT.

Tee is a VFL, and I was one of those people saying not to pressure him. I get why he may have chosen what he did intellectually. But emotionally this is a kick in the teeth, and honestly I think it does change the way I feel about him a little bit. How can the guy who brought us our last national title and has a street named after him turn us down to stay with the guy who has screwed us worse than anyone and might get fired in a year? It's disgusting.

no 1 can say jones didnt try ..ide say he wanted tee as bad as we did ..but at the end of the day ide say
hart or cheek ..would have to say yes also..cant blame him..we start winning and that cures alot
of our problems and i have faith in this coach and staff...but man that just ruined my morning.

Well at least we didn't break the trend of our terrible luck. No surprise to me that "things just didn't work out." It's our program's MO now. Things haven't been working out for a while. Why would they start now?
No hard feelings towards Tee whatsoever. Wish him nothing but the best.

I feel like we just lost more than a good coach. I feel like we just lost Jalen Ramsey... which means our struggles at CB will likely continue and we will continue to lose games because of that. One great CB makes a huge difference, and signing Tee would have given us our best chance of signing a great CB. Big loss, IMO.

Bummed to miss out on Tee - would have been great to had another up and coming VFL coach to the staff. Hopefully CBJ can fill Tee's spot with a big name and a big recruiter.
