I'll take pretty much any 2nd tear candidate if these 3 coaches are in Knoxville next year.
Al Golden
Kirby Smart
Butch Jones.
My "realistic top 3." As long as Cheek is here we won't hire anybody w/ a shady backround. So as much as I'd like Tressel or Butch Davis with Cheek here it's not going to happen.

I will take Al Golden all day long and twice on Saturdays... if you add Tee, Graham and Pittman to the staff, I will take him three times on Saturdays. Golden is battle tested... he has walked into 2 of the most difficult situations a coach can and has done pretty well at both... he will come to UT and think it is a cakewalk compared to what he has dealt with.

assuming you meant Golden and just have Gruden on the brain... wondering why you don't think he would keep Pittman... is there a past between the two, or is he tied to an O-Line coach??? thanks in advance.

Drizz, if those are our "realistic" choices, then I would almost rather just give Chaney a shot. I mean, not really, but, you get what im saying..
