If this trip was purely exploratory, there would be little reason to bring the family along. It's not as if Martin doesn't know Knoxville.
Fingers crossed this is a pen-to-paper trip and they're showing the kids their schools.

If the deal isn't done, then I would imagine family (specifically Tee's wife) are here just to check out Knoxville as a possible place to live. Does anyone know where she's from? If she's from the region then it would be easier to sell her on a return if she has family within a few hours drive.

I'm not sure where she's from, but I'm thinking that she came along to see if she liked the city. Like someone said in another thread, "If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!". This is as much a decision for her as it is for Tee, so to me it's important for her to come along and see for herself what Knoxville has to offer.

Ok, found one, after all. Attended St Louis University, too. Seems like she spent her whole childhood there and most of her life, period.
