Actually, the game is on Sunday at noon. The two best programs in TN state history, same story-different year. Used to like this game a lot more when it was week 5, but after they moved it my Sr. year it has become a different animal. The build up was better back when the game was mid season especially when both teams would come in undefeated, but now it works out for both teams & lets them focus on the season as well as winning their classification's state title after it's over.

I figured Signal would be pretty tough this year. Starting 0-2 I wouldn't have expected. Ooltewah is looking good from what I hear...dang second shift. They shut out Brainerd last week, and won against a tough East Hamilton team earlier tonight. Go Owls.

I did pick East Hamilton over Signal Mountain last weekend (Newschannel 9 has their annual pick'em contest), but I figured it would be another two team race between SM and EH for the regular season title. Right now, it's looking like Signal might be having a down year (although anything can happen in HS football).
