This kid is underrated in my opinion. He has a strong accurate arm and speed to burn. He must be a good decision maker with his touchdown to interception ratio. With that kind of speed he's worth taking a chance on if it doesn't work out at Qb he could move to another position.

Maybe it's the competition that keeps him at three stars, because those sure seem like four-star numbers. Only one interception? Wow.

It sure looks like Coach Jones is doing everything possible to rebuild those in-state relationships that Coach Dooley didn't seem to value.

Look, getting in-state kids (and even states like GA and NC) who might not be offered is a great gift to the kids and their coaches. They get visibility with other schools and get their measureables - well, measured. They also develop networks with the other recruits and their families.
So, even if UT knows they will not offer and even if the kid and his coach assumes that, it is still a favor to all. It's just another way to build relationships with coaches.

This kid played against my high school in the quarterfinals last season and he stood out a lot!! I would be really excited to land him. He is very versatile and could be used in multiple ways. Go Vols!!
