A three-star offensive lineman from Fort Chiswell, Va., who received an offer from Tennessee on Saturday during its junior day says the Vols now are at the top of his list.

Keep up the good work CBJ. The McNeil kid from MS that played for UT was a highly rated center. How would you compare Thomas to him? Thanks.

I like this guy. Big, athletic, smart. Looks like he carries that weight well on his frame. Definitely one that would help. Excited to see some development in recruiting some linemen. Vols!!

He does carry the 298 well. From the picture, he looks lean for a lineman. Looks like he has the frame to carry another 20-30 lbs.

I love the versatility of his frame. If he works as a center, then he could be a monster at the position just like the Pouncey brothers were at Florida. Yet, if he doesn't get it at center then his frame will allow him to play anywhere on the line helping get the best 5 out there!

He looks like a big linebacker in the story pic, especially with that jersey number. Looks athletic. Seems a little tall for center though. Wonder if he gets any playing time at tackle this year?

Really? Now that is a true sign of athleticism. If you said he played Dline, no big deal. But if he can play backer, then the boy can move his feet. That is big-time for a spread offense. Mobile linemen allow that much more versatility in scheming. Love it!!

It's obvious what type of OL they like, smart, good technicians, blue collar, nasty, pancake yer ass mentality. We get enough of them each year and we'll be back. Gotta build the lines first, must happen for the Vols to return to their rightful perch among the elite programs in America.
