There will be a better feel for the number of win estimates after the first game. with our big SEC games on the road along with AL at home, 8 wins including a possible lower tier Bowl win would be a reeasonable target. That is if the VOLS can win the first game and look good at it. This could also be a 6 regular win season, as well. Very mixed feelings on this team.

I got a feeling most of these guys are in a wait and see mode for Tennessee. If we get off to a good start this year, we just might see 3 or 4 of these guys come our way. That wouldn't be too bad at all.

Hey Ryan - love articles like this! Quick question....the overwhelming majority of this list is defensive players - anything that we should read from that? I would think that if Dooley was expecting to lose several non- seniors from our offense to the draft than we'd see a higher number of offensive players on this list??

interesting for sure... 4.39 huh... hmmm wonder where he gets that? I would be amazed to see him run even a 4.45 or 4.5 at that size or weight... he just doen't seem that fast on film, but who knows??? Can you elaborate on Alexander? How strong are we with him? And will he be on campus for our last camp?
Also, a fellow bama friend told me Derick Henry is best friends with Altee Tenpenny and they are in cahoots about joining Bama together. True?
Randolph and Langley in the secondary excites me! I bet they would have immediate chemistry on the field...
For Ramsey, how many slots does USC have left, 4? He may have to default to the Vols.
Will Maybin's stock go up if evaluators watched him at The Opening? Did he do well?
Lastly, when will Toby Johnson be ranked?

Not Ryan but we have a few WRs committed already and a juco slot WR in Comas has UT as his leader. We also would be the leader for Paul Harris IF USC does not have room. Expect UT to sign 1-2 juco WRs and if possible an elite HS WR like North (who we are battling for still) or Harris or ?.............this would be 4-5 WRs for 2013 to go with our solid class last year and the hope of 1 WR like Hunter or Patterson to stay one more year. You could make the arguement for an elite WR in the top 10 list but who are you taking out (maybe Ramsey once he commits to USC)?
As for RB.........they are on this top 10 list. As for TE..........its a definite need but not top 10.
As for OL.........we seem to be close to full with Koehler a UT lean.
As foir QB........we are in great shape with Worley, Peterman and now a commit like Ferguson.
