I have no information regarding if he will or will not be fired. Although if he is or asked to resign then I would wonder how far that would push back our decision. Because if he is then you would expect other openings to come about as each team would replace the coach that Texas hired.
Maybe Saban wants a new challenge and a new conference to conquer.
Texas won't have to look far for a coach if Brown is fired or steps down, Ft. Worth isn't very far from Austin. Patterson will be their No. 1 choice.
