Randolph nor Lanier started the whole year. Did either start a majority of games? McCullers and Sentimore would have started last year. Lathers would have started last year. Teague can't can't get back in the starting lineup now. Brewer lost his job to Moore this year. Randolph played as a true freshmen same as McNeil is now. This defense has better personnel and is much worse by any measure. Wilcox would have helped win 2 of the games we lost.

And BR doesn't start on this team without an injury to Randolph. AJ and Lathers are not the same player for a lot of reasons. If you really believe this you are completely lost to your love and faith in all things Dooley.

I would love to hear some solutions. What I'm saying is this: everyone has brought tons of problems to the table but I haven't seen very many fans who have an idea of how to fix it other than "fire Sal" or "fire Dooley and Sal" or my favorite, "if Wilcox was still here..." I'd love to hear your educated opinions of how to fix this defense. With this staff and these players. Proceed...
