I could be wrong, but I thought the initial reports with Bell was that he liked the coaching staff and was waiting to commit because they were on the hot seat. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought I remembered seeing that in one of the Bell recruiting articles.

That particular report is months old, IIRC. Within the past few weeks, reports have been that he is very interested in Bama. He has also been photographed rocking Bama gear. I believe he will give CBJ a shot, but like I said, Bell should have been locked down for us many moons ago.

That is my point.

You are saying CDD failed in recruiting him, but the months old report said he wanted to see wins and wanted stability with the staff. You can say CDD is a bad coach (I agree), but you can't blame his recruiting skill on us not getting Bell.

Just FYI... if you can read anything into what kids do, I've been at a couple local high school sporting events fairly recently where Bell has been in attendance. Both times, he was dressed head-to-toe in Bama gear.

Never said we lead anywhere in my post but nothing in recruiting is a fore gone conclusion we know that first hand. And thanks for the up vote TN sadly someone used a downvote which I find hilarious. You'd think this was a forum of adults.I guess the truth really hurts feelings.

like I said eariler,Vonn is a real playmaker,both offense & defense.Have seen the kid play on several occasions this year,& he's mr. excitment,a threat to take it to the house everytime he touches the ball.Great hands & vision.Guys he's an athlete in the same mold as a Patterson,an he's always wanted to be a Volunteer.Make no mistake he will play on Sundays.So whatever it takes to dress him in orange on Saturdays.PLEASE COACH MAKE IT HAPPEN. Vonn may very well end up @Bama,but I won't give on a guy that wants to wear orange,until I hear him say it.May be overstating it a bit,but I'm ready for another Eric Berry.
