Our D in the 2nd half improved......Sal and co adjusted. 80 yds allowed passingby NCST when they were down is not bad. Maybe we really grew up on D.

They say the most improvement is from the first game to the second game. I actually feel sorry for Georgia State if that's 100% true. But I can't wait to see the improvement these guys get before the 3rd game. Vols proveided the excitement we've missed the last few years. GBO!

I thought the D-line looked pretty impressive pass rushing. Part of the reason Glennon threw 4 picks was he had various members of our front-7 bearing down on him all night.

I'm not sure how much of our inability to run between the tackles was the O-line's fault, but it looked to me they were outstanding all night in pass-protection, just like last year. They enabled that 333 yds passing and some credit for the 0 INT's too -- Bray rarely/never had any heat on him and could take his time.

rhino i think something that everybody has over looked was no stupid penaltys by an aggresive defense. the dumb penaltys were on state.
we had some 5 yarders on O no holding. big big improvement in that area

Lane ran North South, Neal and Devrin was running east west too much. I think holes could ahve been better, but perhaps their DL was better than thought, their DE were very good. I had thought the middle would be soft, but to me it wasnt very soft all night. If they dont open huge holes next week I will be worried though.
