The Program Is Surrounded in Drama

  • But I hope we can all agree that James Franklin is a chump. I really can't stand that guy and I hope we win as much as I hope he loses.

    Let me repeat that: the head coach of Vanderbilt openly disrespects the Tennessee football program.

    That is a reflection on how far Dooley has dragged this program down.

    In the past nobody would have cared what the Vandy coach said or did but now see the OP.

  • I think it's a reflection of our program's decline that there is any apathy whatsoever regarding another instate coach referring to us as "the other program in the state", or keeping a helmet with an upside-down Power T in their athletic complex.

    Frankly, I'm shocked at the responses to this thread.

  • I think it shows how far we have fallen that we are bothered by CJF's antics. In the future we should not think twice about what the Vandy coach is doing or saying but today we are 4 point underdogs to that team and have a very good chance of losing to them.

    I appreciate the situation that Dooley took over but he has led us on a path that leaves us as 4 point underdogs to Vanderbilt! When i hear that it is hard for me to realize that Dooley really has improved our program. I know we are in better shape than when he took over but a loss this weekend will make me doubt it.

    Well here you go then......I dislike him just as much as you do. He is a chump. I also would give up my season tickets if they hire him.

    Agreed. Sadly, if 6 win Brooks had stayed in Lexington we'd probably be talking the same way about UK. Despite beating us we can be thankful Jokers made them such a bottom dweller that we don't look as bad as them. About all the joy we have left.
