If we learned one thing from the UGA game, it was that Tennessee can run the football in the SEC. But for any one who still doubts, get a load of this statistic:
2011 UT rushing stats: 1081 yards for the ENTIRE SEASON (2.8 ypc/90.1 yds/game)
2012 UT rushing stats through 5 games: 887 yards (4.5 ypc, 177.4 yds/game)Debate=over. I still want an elite running back in our next recruiting class, however

Something else I find interesting: if we can keep up the pace of running for 177 yards/game, we'll wind up rushing for over 2,300 yards on the season (that's 12 games plus a bowl...which we will reach) and have an excellent shot at 8 or 9 wins. We'll also give Alabama the fight of their lives. I expect that pace to drop off a little bit, but not precipitously.
