You have no favorite boards.
Alright guys, I just want to point out a few things I saw about the game yesterday. I also want to let you all know that everything will be fine! I am not going to place blame on Dooley for last night, after last night I get the feeling I am one of the biggest fans of Dooley left lol.
1) Tyler Bray, last night he tried to do way to much way to fast. I have been in a situations where my team has been down or level and we felt like we needed to win right then. Let me tell you what, that is EXACTLY what happened to him around the middle of the 3rd when the purses scored a touchdown to put them level. Bray felt like he had to score or we would lose. After that point I saw a ton of bad decisions on his part trying everything to win on that drive. He had time, I just wish he realized it.
2) Our defensive backfield is too slow. I have seen your comments on the board and I agree 100%, so let's hit the recruiting trail for some burners!! J.Burton burning our secondary is seriously one of the saddest things I have ever seen, I mean they took bad pursuit angles but they still should have the speed to hawk him down. DBs and CBs in particular should be the fastest players on the field IMO.
3) Mental resiliency, it's not just Bray but a lot of members on this team don't have what it takes, YET, to shift momentum back on our side late in a game, but I'll tell you what, our D is much closer that our offense in that department.
4) Growing pains, I want to find a fan that can deny the progress we have made even from last year. I think that last night we as the fans were victims of our teams success, we had our hopes up so high, at least I know I did. I was starting to get the idea in my head we were becoming world beaters! Well guys the truth is we were 5-7 last year and that Idea is CRAZY.
The bottom line is this is a process, this team has made significant strides since last season!! We are getting better all the time just look at our front 7 from last night vs just one year ago, we made a goal line stand last night against an SEC team no less!! (I was hoping for a big Mac clothesline lol) Guys, it is all about perception!! All we need is a winning attitude and some DBs!!
P.S. McNeil made the play on that fake punt last night, I can't wait to see how he turns out! Sooner rather than later with the injury if Randolph perhaps? ( I haven't sat down with the depth chart so I don't know how far back he is or of they play the same spot)

I agree- great post - I too still roll with Dooley
This game will define who this team is, as the season progresses.
