They told me to sit down again.

  • I sit in M-box. The 2nd to last row in section M. These are our season tickets the ones above and beside us are sold for game by game by the booster. We were told by the usher about 1 minute in the game to sit down. Shorty after that we forgot, starting getting rowdy about the game. We were told by the row above us to sit down again. Then we were "warned" by the usher. This upsets me. Anyone else told to sit down again.

  • By the usher!? That's crazy...

  • If you're just 1 row from the back, why don't you offer to just trade seats with them? Then you can stand and they can see...

Yep. Twice. Fans behind us complained. It was 1 minute into the game.

  • Never......but I "time" when I stand and sit........but I yell for 3+ hours.

JMO move your seats now while you can. GBO!

Thats not a bad idea. We have 8 tickets and i think there is only 4 or 5 seats on the row above us. I dunno, I understand their point. But sheesh only a few minutes into the game of opening a SEC season.

Next time just tell them to stand.

  • Similar thing happened to me in X5. I was standing on the concrete step behind the last row behind some friends and some attendant came by and told me to get down during a big play. My buddy has season tickets and needless to say he didn't take it very well. My seat was two rows in front of his but the entire row was full and I couldn't sit.

  • I would dare anyone in that place to tell me to sit down. They would get knocked the eff out.

  • This is my 3rd year with these tickets. We are the only people there in those seats on a week to week basis. Ive been going to games since i was 8 now im 25. Late last year at the South Car. game is when i saw things were changing. I had to throw away a $30 gerber pocket knife i forgot i had in my pocket from the tailgate. They treated me like i had a bomb. I glady threw it away without making a deal out of it cause it is not allowed and i understood. This year walking into the stadium the man infront of me and myself were told to move to the side. So we did Im guessing it was a random search. I had to take off my loafers and let them look inside after being patted down twice. I know things like this are put in place to keep the place safe. Combine this with the having to sit down then it nearly becomes a process to watch the game. Its not like it used to be win or lose. I dunno maybe this is a rant.

I brought a purse to the GA State game. The guy at the gate searched it for a solid five minutes and then asked, "Why don't you have any alcohol in here??" blank

Anyway, I can't imagine sitting down during a football game. Side-effects of the student section.
