This Urban Meyer stuff scares me

I can't stand him but he is one of the best in the business. He is creating this drama for a reason.

I wouldn't worry about it. Butch can't be dumb enough to get UT in hot water already... Especially with the extended probation UT got this year...

Where is this coming from? Is this real or is this just something coming from other boards? Haven't heard a lot of specifics about it to make me think it's credible.

I'm not saying I'm scared we actually cheated...no way. I'm saying I'm scared Urban is using this to get Vonn Bell to OSU.

I think this is Urban Meyer taking negative recruiting to the press because a) the dead period is in force and b) he's panicking about Johnson...

Well he can still talk directly to recruits. It's just a no visit period not a dead period.

But what is he saying? And to who? And who is claiming to know these things? I don't think we cheated either, I'm just confused what this whole story is and if it's even real that Urban is talking about UT. Everything is so vague.

Assuming they're still taking calls. Seems that a lot of recruits are shutting things down between now and NSD, so Meyer is even more limited in spreading his message. I think someone should rebroadcast Bielemma's comments on Meyer's recruiting tactics as a response to this...
