The reality of it all is that our Vols were playing football and winning championships long before Peters was born and will still be winning when he tells his Grandkids how he played for a college team that could never place better than third in their division.

That would be awesome. But it would also surprise me more than the miracle at South Bend did.

Feel free to vent sir! But the this program has been in trouble for a while! let's be honest this class is impressive considering the shape the program is in! Our program was a mess and Dooley was the best we could get! We have to give the man some time!

We just have to be realistic in our expectations! Hamilton and John Curry ran this program into the ground. swimming, baseball, track, basketball, and football programs have all suffered. We have to build a foundation of character! Whether Dooley survives are not he is laying the foundation for our future!

We are all starving for a super signing day and we have to shoot for prospects above our head selling them on the school we love! Please remember if we do not aim high we will not be disapointed! I do not know about you but I rather aim high and have some disapointments.

You make it sound like UT was such a horrible job that no one wanted it when really many coaches turned the job down because Hamilton wanted someone to come in here with the assistant coaches that were already in place. Not many coaches would come into that situation.

Also Sunseri was not the only offer as Chavis was also offered.

The Arnett deal was botched by both sides.

We've had 4 straight losing seasons.

Santos did not lie to us, he done nothing but follow his heart and his life long dream. Put yourself in his shoes and tell me you wouldn't take a last second offer to play for your home state university.

And the turnaround is very close.....bank it!

Losing 2 recruits doesn't change anything. Yeah it sucks but it happens to anyone. You do realize with hunter we probably win 2-3 more games last year? We probably beat Florida and Kentucky at least. We may even beat south Carolina. Losing bray and hunter was disastrous. It doesn't help letting the other team stack the box to stop the run when they know you only have 1 receiver who can play. Come on man use your mind. Tennessee will always be Tennessee. Everything runs in cycles. We've put up with the bads, we are back

Not necessarily competing with them is the most important thing right now. IMO I think you need to pick and fight the battles you have a shot to win. We should be more focused on being able to compete with Georgia Florida and south Carolina which i feel like we can.
