These players need to start playing for each other and hold each other to a higher standard. I feel like the problems on defense is not a matter of scheme or coaching. It's a matter of these guys refusing to keep playing poorly. They had two weeks to prepare and came out and couldn't stop state. Get in the film room and study, study, study and make sure each guy knows their assignments. Make sure every player on d knows exactly what their supposed to do when they see something similar from film study. This team is so close to breaking thru and its killing me. Leave everything out on the field against bama. This team will either become closer from all the bad they've went thru or they will fold and start pointing fingers. A leader needs to step up and rally the troops and save this season. Coaches get this team ready and if they cant get what we need done play whoever will. If Hunter keeps playing soft, pull him. No one player can be bigger than the team.

Does it really matter at this point ? Who steps up a senior or a junior that's getting ready to go pro then what? Try to find another leader next year half way thru season ? I thought that's what the head coach was suppose to do. Lead his team. We have the talent to win games just not the coaching.

Was Peyton Manning a leader? How about Al Wilson? Tee Martin?
Yes, it really matters. Yes, the coaches and leaders of a team build future leaders (in the begining, middle and end of a season). Leadership functions and accountability exist at every level of every organization. Several books have been published on the topic. Our national and state history is full of leaders at all levels of governance. If we fired our military leaders at the rate of college football coaches, we would all be speaking Russian and working in vodka distilleries.

I didn't mean that leadership doesn't matter I was refering to this team and the situation they have. Did u really think I meant leadership doesn't matter. My gosh think about things before you post. I just don't see where we are gonna find leadership and seems like it mite be too late. That's what I meant.

I must have misunderstood your question.
This team needs SOMETHING good to happen
