As Chartervol pointed out in the game thread, Majors did it once. And it actually resulted in improved performance the rest of that season.

I think we heard hints of that happening with the 'Conklin situation'. It would not surprise me if Conklin starts making more if not all the defensive calls without advertising that Sunseri is no longer in charge.

This is not all hyperbole on my part but I think the players on the field could draw D plays in the dirt and do as well. At least we would be unpredictable.

I think you're on it tnbear. I think this will happen starting tomorrow and might be better than demoting Sal outright.

It would only take a 25% improvement in our D stat's to help significantly. Assuming it is reflected in the opponents score we would have beaten UGA, MSU and USCe. Even as little as 15% gets us a win against UGA and USCe. Would better DC calls get us that 15 or 25% improvement. I think it would at least get us 15%...PUT CONKLIN IN CHARGE OF MAKING THE D CALLS...IT CAN'T GET WORSE!
