I think Harrison being out really hurt yesterday. Although I think this team needed a beating like this, to help them later in the year.

How does any womens team defend Griner? She just stands there with the ball above her head and nobody can do a thing. A big girl like her is so much more dominate in womens BB because of the average height difference of the females. If there are more like her out there, the ladyvol coaches better start recruiting. The ladyvols looked really bad starting off 0-17 against a top team.

Lady Vols won last night 75-40 against Davidson to move to 8-3 overall. Bashaara Graves led the way again with 16 and 10. Graves is going to be a really really good player in her time here at Tennessee. Cierra Burdick also had a double double. The ladies will play again on Sunday Dec. 30th at 1pm against Rutgers and January 3, 2013 against S. Carolina at 9 pm. Both games should be televised on Sports South.

Lady Vols dominate Rutgers and cruise to a 66-47 win today. Harrison led 18 and 11. Basharra Graves also had a double double to continue here very good freshman season

The final tonight was lady Vols 84 Missouri 39. Simmons had 18 points.

Finally got to watch an entire game. Graves and Harrison are beasts on the boards! This team has really improved since Baylor. If they stay healthy, they've got the tools to make a deep run, especially if they stay out of Baylor's bracket.

Yeah after a rocky start and some criticism from me as well as others whether justified or not I believe this team is starring to find there stride. Willthey be able to beat any of the top teams I'm still not sure cause they are so young. With that said young talented teams are always dangerous cause you never know when that big moment will happen. With the roster they have and what they have coming in the future is looking nice

Yeah I think so too. We're really young but oh so talented. I'm telling you, as long as we're not in the same bracket as Baylor, we can make a deep tourney run.

Turned out to be a barn burner in FL. The Lady Vols pull out the win in OT 78-75. Improve to 4-0 in SEC play. Go Lady Vols.

That was one heck of a game. Really high tempo. Was impressed with how they played in the first half after Izzy got into foul trouble very early. Lady Vols getting it done despite lacking numbers.

We must have haha. Simmons is such a spark plug. I think Massengale taking over the point has really helped take the pressure off Simmons. It helps to have a good PG feeding you the ball.

I think they have settled down and like you said Simmons is not a point she is a scorer. I believe she is starting to be more consistant as well.
