Three freshmen leave Tennessee

Don't want to be that guy, but happy to see all 6 going. For the juniors, I'm happy they are getting a shot at the big time. For the freshmen, part of your commitment to the team is being a student athlete and if not a good member of the community, at least not a negative influence.

Not surprised but still hate to see players leave the program.. I wish them the best in life!
However, it will be interesting to see how this could possibly affect our depth situation down the road

Better now than later with these freshman. We don't need them taking up practice spots if they are not fully committed.
Too bad though, bc those player's positions were in real areas of need for us.

Speaking of academics,Where does Tennessee rank in the SEC with Academics? And what is the requirement for a state school to be eligible to play sports?

Bonner got his chance and I guess blew it, coach Jones evidently don't play that game. Good for everybody involved especialy the team seems we finally have a true leader who will weed out and not take BS or make excuses for the better of the team. Way to go CBJ!!!

I think we all knew it was possibly coking but it when it gets here it sucks lol. We are going to have to be line heavy on recruits next year

I would like to know how UT stands now with the new rules.......We do not want to be like Uconn was in bball IIRC.

We are ok for 2013. In 2014 we really will only have Sauls and OBrien (no faith in Clark yet). Hopefully we sign Carr who appears to be more of a DT and we really need 2 more DTs in this class like Bryant and ?
Then add 1-2 top jucos in 2014.
That would give us 5-6 again. But this 2013 class is a must for DT and the same goes for OT for 2014 needs
