Thanks Ryan. That's very encouraging to hear that he returned. I am really impressed with this guy's film. If he returns from the injury with the same burst, then he's a steal!

247 has him at 4.45. FWIW. Either way, his junior film is impressive. He runs away from everyone. Does he return from senior year knee injury with same speed? That is the big question. Obviously, coaches were willing to take a chance. Hope he surprises everyone.

at the risk of referencing Scout, just passing this along, but they reference him as having 4.51 speed..looking at his film, its clear that, whatever his 40 time, he has the quickness, strength and speed to be a good TB. Solid pick up imo. I think if we can get Ford that's as good a duo of RB commitments as you could hope for.

When I first read this article I dismissed his size, and thought he was a small back. Now that I have reread this article I realize this guy is a stacked and compact 5"8 180 lb. Considering we will put an additional 15 lbs of muscle on him. This guy will be very hard to tackle, like Ray Rice....OMG.
I am getting excited, Jay Graham will make this guy a BEAST!!!!!

I just dont understand why the UT or, really any top tier program would put so much stock in players who missed most if not their entire senior season due to injury. I know all teams have needs that must be met...and i also realize that injuries heal...a la Justin Hunter...but, he was already in college when he was hurt.
I suppose the coaches are just hoping that with all the potential rehab possibilities/facilities these kids can return to their former selves.
Can anyone think of a kid who the UT recruited who was injured and didnt play their senior season in high school but came in and had a positive impact to contribute immediately or within a year? I pose this question bc the UT will need a great number of these players to do just that and I dont completely get it.

Seems like Montario Hardesty had some kind of injury in HS
