Not sure if this is true. If it were it wouldn't surprise me. Had a friend tell me that UT fans were buying more tickets than NC State fans by a landslide. Can you say home game crowd? Big orange fans are the best....

uhhh, this could be because there are ALOT more UT fans than NCST fans....for good reason!

I heard roughly the same numbers. Also not sure where I read it considering the last few days of obsessing over Vol news, I read that Chik F. and other sponsers were somewhat upset that NC State was not selling as many tickets that they should. Not sure if this is true or false though. Wish I could recall where I saw it. Also I know a few Vol fans that said when they went to buy tickets later from sites UT sections didnt have many good seats left so they purchased better seats from NC state sites. Not sure how great that is for UT but at least they are going to be there. Go Vols.

One of the CFA committee members publicly commented on that last month. Several UT fans on this site have purchased tickets on the NC State side, so there would have to be a lot more doing the same. It's gonna be fun to see that UT orange rocking the Georgia Dome next Friday!!

Personally I have no problems with how it affects UT, because all there tickets that are wort a flip are usually handed out to people that turn around and sell them anyway lol. NC State had better tickets and they were cheaper

I talked to a guy in the ticket office he said something like 50-60 thousand Ut fans will be there

That's what I had heard too. Hopefully that is a realistic number. That place will be insane. I can't wait!

Not even close, I think the dome holds 70,000. I think there's only close to 40,000

Here's hoping the entire dome is orange. Our fans are starving for a good year and I can't wait. +1 to tntoak for making the trip from Alaska. Now that's a VFL for you.

It will be close to sold out there is already 50,000 of orange going and plus whatever students go and add on then we bought some nc state tickets you will be suprised like I said its going to be close
