  • Why don't we all reminisce for a second? Who are your guys' favorite Vols ever? Or who do you remember the most? For me, well maybe its just because I was born in 1994 and don't remember a lot of the older guys, but the player that I adored most during my childhood was Casey Clausen. I still have a small, orange #7 jersey from a Christmas one year (2002 maybe?) that has faded a lot over the years; but it is still one of my most prized possessions. That period from 2000-2003 contain some of my most favorite childhood moments. I remember him most as a kid, watching his games in my dad's lap on Saturday afternoons...ah, the memories...what about you guys? Who do y'all remember the most?

  • Stanley Morgan......He averaged something like 9.2 yds everytime he touched the ball at UT...........almost as exciting as Cordarelle.

  • Clausen? Didn't see that one coming. He's on the exact opposite side of my list. I always liked Big Al Wilson. He played 100% every play. Whether it was a game or just in practice.

Again, I was born in '94, so I can't remember all that far back. I would have loved to have been alive long enough to watch Al play. I've gone back and watched games from the '98 season and he was a BOSS.

You can't remeber watching games when you were 4? J/k. Clausen did put up great numbers and won a lot of games so I can't hate on him too much. His attitude is what rubbed me wrong.

  • My favorite Vols are probably same as many of you with Peyton, Big Al, Little Man, etc, but I'll throw one out there a little different...

  • Without a doubt Peyton and Jay Graham. I was born in '85 so i was ages 9-12 during the Peyton era. Tee, Al Wilson and Peerless are a couple of my all-time favorites. (yes, Tee is still and will always be a favorite of mine. I just hope the team he coaches on fails miserably because essentially guys, he is the enemy unless he's coaching our Vols. He is coming into this state and trying to convince guys not to come here and go where he is instead. That makes him the enemy, it's as simple as that. His decision does not at all change the way I feel about him as a person or as a letter-winner of this program.)

  • What if our favorite player was Tee Martin?

    JPSke

  • Jay Graham. My first ever Bama vs UT game was in 1996 when I was 9 years old. His TD run to win the game hooked me for life and it is the first memory I have of the Vols.

  • Has to be Reggie White! It was like watching a high schooler playing a bunch of JFL kids. He was a man among boys.

  • Come on guys! No Jamal Lewis love?! He's definitely my favorite, followed by Peerless Price and Big John Henderson!

  • I was born in '78 so when I was little I loved Cobb-Webb, Hahaha anyone remember them?? All time favorite is a close decision between Al Wilson and Eric Berry. Never forget watching Al Wilson diving over the line or E Berry knocking the bejesus out of Moreno....GBO!

M favorites were the Minister of Defense and Cocaine Tony Robinson who led us to the Sugar Bowl in 85. The 90's of course the greatest QB of all times Peyton, and I loved Al Wilson the leader of the NC defense. The 2000's a little sketchy people may get mad but I like Eric Ainge as QB and all our RB Travis Henry, Travis Stephens, Graham I think was in the 90's maybe not

  • Jason Allen, I can't remember every play each year or really 20 minutes after the game. But I remember a lot of seeing him when I was in school and when he dislocated his hip. Still try to follow him in the NFL.

    KeystoneUTK

  • Being born in 91, I don't remember too much of our glory days. My favorite two players to come through here are Arian Foster and Inky Johnson. Loved watching Foster play and still do. Plus he's just a very interesting person in general. I was at the game when Inky got hurt and I've followed his story ever since that night. He should be an inspiration to everyone. He is a true role model and someone I have looked up to since that night.

  • My former classmate, Eric Berry. He was one of the few exciting things we went to the stadium 2007-2009.

    silver fox

  • Dale Jones! Played every play like it was his last play ever. Saved the Alabama game when Robinson went down with a knee injury in my opinion. Vols went on to win the Sugar Bowl over Miami.
