Well, with this agressive and passionate Head Coach and staff, things just seem to keep getting better! This would be great news and a wonderful, intelligent young man to add to the Vols' team. With the news, earlier, tonight that Johnathon Ford has decommitted from Vandy and the talk of Bell being interested (and perhaps not having a space on the AL board?), these Big Orange Coaches are REALLY making me excited about the prospects of UT Football. I am VERY excited about Feb 6th and beyond. I believe that CBJ and his staff will condition them, prepare them, coach them and mentor them to be hugely effective in the classroom, life, the community ... & between the checkerboards on Saturdays this Fall & throughout their careers with the Big Orange!!

Even if we don't land all these prospects, the fact is, they are genuinely INTERESTED in the Big Orange again. That being said, I'm very optimistic about this class and our future. I would love to get this kid in Orange, he represents everything a true Student Athlete is supposed to be. GO VOLS!

I like that jones is going after more mobile quarterbacks and not just pure pocket passer i have thought for years the we needed a quarterback that when the play broke down someone that could get out of the pocket and pick up five or 6 yards by running get back to the tee martain days and we all know how that worked for us

Nice write up RC. Sounds like the kid is talanted, intelligent, and mature. just what you need in a QB. Also sounds like his parents and HS coach are doing whats truly best for Joshua. Refreshing. Hope we get him.

Yes. A QB that has the ability to turn a sack (or an intentional throw out of bounds) into a 5 yard gain is something we haven't seen since 98-99. I think we had a good record then. It also worked out good for A&M this year. Finally a coaching staff that gets it!

What I like the most about this kid is his intelligence! It is one thing to be a big, tall & athletic QB, but throw in the factor of smarts and you have the possibilities of a really good football player. We have all seen in times past good athletes who possibly was a bit lacking in the intelligence department vs the well rounded intelligent kid who was a good athlete also. I am excited about this kid!

I have been watching this kid for a few weeks now and was wondering when the VOLS would make a move on him.. He is a top tier QB IMO.
