I was looking at boyds stats for HS and he had over 5000 yds rushing through HS and considerably less receiving. My question is why is he listed as a wr instead of rb? Might tenn be recruiting him as a rb? And if not, why? He seems like more of a rb threat IMO.

I think Ryan answered this in another post, not directly, but he pointed out that he comes from a small school in a lower division of high school football. Ryan was using this as a reason for what appears to be him getting "overlooked " by alot of D1 schools but IMO addresses your question. In small schools your best athletes do everything they can that allows them to get the football. Alot of these athletes are high school qbs that project as w.r.s at the D1 level. Please correct me if I am off target here Ryan or anyone else in the know!
