In light of the Sanctions levied against UNC yesterday, the school announced they would allow any SR a full release and transfer without strings.
S. Williams would be a nice pick up for one year... pretty nice looking DT at 6-3 320. Not to mention Kevin Reddick a great looking MLB at 240lbs... wonder if they might give Pittman or Palermo a call to check on things???????????
I'm sure Wes will have his ears open on this subject, right?

the SEC implemented a rule I believe that transfer that can transfer and play immediately must have two years to play, like Malik did. I don't think an SEC school can take a kid with only one year to play if they want to play right away. If they have a year to sit out as a transfer, then they could come and sit one to play one.
I think the SEC has that in place. Came about after the Masoli transfer to Ole Miss

But that was FROM NC State to Wisconsin... LWSVOL is talking about the SEC rule.... you know cockamamied rules that hurt us in relation to other conferences and ones that no one else has... like the extra math and english class for JUCO kids.
LWSVOL... I understand ya... but are you for sure that's just for GRADUATE PROGRAM enrolees looking to do what Massoli did... or russell wilson. Whereby create a conflict that your school doesn't have a program that you want to study... so you go to another school that does...?
UNC or USC transfers is/was because of Violations and Bowl Ban. I think I remember it coming up with USC... so you may be right on the one year rule... but Not for sure since it is the School in trouble saying... hey its okay to leave your last year... and in UNC case... its only Sr to be because they only have a One Year Bowl Ban.... anyway... would be good to know or completely clear up if there is a difference between the two cases... Grad school versus kid transferring becasue of bowl ban?
