UPDATED WISH LISTS

  • With all of the recent commits, the class is beginning to take shape... So I thought starting an UPDATED WISH LIST thread might be fun....

Let's pretend the # of players we sign is 25 and everyone that is currently committed to us signs (no defections)...... I think that is a safe and fair estimate..... That leaves us with 7 spots to be filled..... Who would all of you like to see as the last 7 spots???? I'm not asking who you think will fill those 7 spots, I curious what everyone's current and updated wish list is like.... I will start with mine....

    1.) Carl Lawson
    2.) Derrick Green
    3.) Von Bell
    4.) Jalen Ramsey
    5.) Alvin Kamara
    6.) Marquez North
    7.) Jonathan Franklin

I know this is probably all a fantasy..... But man, wouldn't it be awesome to finish the class off like that... Can always hope.... Liked the news we got today.....

I know Derrick Green is important to Tennessee and everything, but you want TWO of him? lol

Edit: OK, never mind. I see you just updated your post.

If we can get to 26 or 27 like others have suggested, then I say why not take all of them?!?!

  • I agree with #1 - 3....but mine would be:

    1) Carl Lawson
    2) Derrick Green
    3) Vonn Bell
    4) Marquez North
    5) Zach Cunningham
    6) Davin Bellamy

Actually, I'd switch 2 & 3. I think we have more of a pressing need to have safeties that can limit big plays, versus an effective running back.

I would have this same list except I'd put Bell ahead of Green.

i like that list.... I just have a feeling about Franklin and the big things he could do in this system.... We also don't currently have a QB like him on our roster..... This is how I look at it, we have absolutely nothing to lose by taking a chance on a QB with a completely different skill set then the QBs we currently have......

    Ha! Great minds think alike.

  • What are our chances on Alex Collins?

    RealWes4

  • I would agree with needing safeties but I think we are better off with Randolph and McNeill than we are with Lane and Neal. A game changing RB would be a tremendous change for this program.

    Mine are:
    1. Lawson
    2. Green
    3. Bell
    4. Ramsey
    5. Kamara (if no Green)
    6. North
    7. Koehler
    8. Cunningham (added an extra because I want only one of the RB's)

Was a thread earlier today that I didn't look like we were getting a OV by another poster.

*looks like Ryan responded said we are fighting for a visit.

I asked earlier, and Ryan said that we're fighting for a visit. Currently he's scheduled to go to Arky and Miami for his final two, but we haven't been in the picture long and there's a chance that his recent interest in us will result in him visiting. Sounds like a toss up just to get him on campus, and a long shot at a commitment.
