2013 TENNESSEE BASEBALL LEADOFF BANQUET CANCELLED

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Due to severe weather in the Knoxville area, tonight’s Tennessee Baseball Leadoff Banquet has been cancelled.

“We are very sorry that the Leadoff Banquet will not take place as planned,” UT head coach Dave Serrano said. “I know that our fans were very excited for this event, as was I. Unfortunately, sometimes there are things in life that we can not control and it simply was not safe for us to ask our fans to risk their safety.

“While we will not be able to hold this year’s Leadoff Banquet, we are planning to hold some sort of event to thank our great fans and help kick off the 2013 campaign. Check back in the coming days for more information about that event.”
