Tennessee had a big need — an obvious need — to sign a big-time back in the Class of 2013. The Vols didn't get the biggest name, but coaches insist they got a big-time player.

Not in the first instance I don't think...unless Graham literally generated a report...like a scouting report. If so, I'm the one that was confused.
“We were recruiting (Lee) all the way through,” Jones said. “We knew that he had a tremendous skill set. Coach Jay Graham did a great job of developing a report and relationship with him. Jay had him in camp at South Carolina, so he knew all about him. We continued to watch his film."

I trust, of course, that Jay Graham knows what he is looking at. So no questions about that. Does he return strong, quick, and fast from a knee injury? That is a big question. Didn't I read on here that he was able to return to play a little by the end of the season?

I like this kid. He has a bigger frame than some of the smaller guys we've seen (Watson, Young). If he's 175 now he could probably easily carry 195-200. That's not bruiser size but he could become an every down player. I'm excited to see him play.

We have good backs now. Lane is a really good straight ahead back. Not a speedster. But good vision and hard to tackle. Neal if not for injury would have rushed for 1000 yds in my opinion. He was leading sec in rushing for like the first 5 or 6 games. Young surprised me with his ability to run between the tackles and is very quick! He did well against some tuff defences including alabamas. Not to mention a beast of a offensive line! I think we will be fine running the ball. More consearned with passing the ball. QB and receiver is the positions I am kind of worried about. Go Vols!!!

I think it was great to sign Jabo. He could be a real surprise. I hope so. Regardless, I believe we MUST sign Jalen Hurd. I am so tired of seeing top state talent go out. HURD! HURD!

No kid is a "MUST". I wish we wouldn't rise and fall on one player like we all made a big deal out of Bell this year and didn't get him. I would L O V E to get Hurd, but we'll still be ok if we don't.

That he is but I like Myles Autry from norcross Georgia and if landing autry gets us his two teammates I'd much rather have a 5* d end a 4*lb and a 4*tailback than one 5* tailback

We're high on mouhon and Autry so possibly two and they could try and bring carter cause I mean heck look at the roster for DE next year it's gonna be empty. never say never with this staff Go Vols

All I have to judge from is his highlights. And I'm impressed. As long as he can stay healthy, I believe we got a steal.

Jones mentioned the "great need for a back" bc we need him for the FUTURE. I don't think they plan on him starting man, as they mentioned we have backs "now" but neal and young will be getting outta here soon.
