What a great weekend to be a Vol!! Signiture win for the bball team, start of spring practice ( and a new chapter for the football team with a coach who believes) and now 2 commits in in 2 days how could this get any better? I know how, my wife delivered a healthy baby boy this weekend too!!! Excuse me while I sit back and drink some orange kool-aid!

According to one recruiting service, both Kelly and Wharton are four stars but have no ranking on Thomas yet. This is the best start in, like, forever this early in the class year. Two already from Tennessee. Build that fence Butch, build that fence!

It will help slow down the recruiting process for him, but he's still going to hear from plenty of coaches in the coming months. There's a difference between signing and committing. For a player of Kelly's caliber, committing doesn't really end the recruiting process.
That said, I'm sure many coaches will assume it's not really worth their time to keep recruiting Kelly all that aggressively, knowing that it may be unlikely that he would back out on UT.
the more we lose this season the harder they will come after him,but we are gonna win enough to keep most recruiters from comming after him to hard.
