I would rather have butch over smart. He's a very proven head coach, smart would be a bigger risk but he could be a great head coach it would just make me very nervous hiring a coordinator

Possibly. Everyone also thought that Sal Sunseri would be amazing for recruiting, as well. It might be an overstatement to say he was decent recruiting-wise.

Wes there were some reports about Hue Jackson having interest in the job. Do you have any idea if there were any talks in that regard? Sorry guys, Butch may work out, but I think the public backlash on this hire is going to be HORRIBLE. Wes I know that you have said on the show and in articles that Hart isn't the one to look at on this, but man it looks to me like he has made some mistakes here. If nothing else, he appears to be ready to tye his future to Jones..Hope this is the right choice.

Smart and Sal and all the bammers (sidewalk / red neck / trailer trash / no shirt wearing overall bunch of nothings) including Hart can go back to bammer.
Give me Jones over any bammer or gator do not want anything crimson anymore.

I am good with Jones as long as he adds some southern recruiting exp. to his staff. we tried the Saban tree once before. and nothing says smart would leave. he turned down aubie already. So i am good with Jones he actually wants to be here bad. More than i can say for strong and fedora.
