I have recently learned that Talon was being looked at heavily by the Atlanta Braves and Tampa Bay Rays prior to his injury. While sports isnt the only thing in life it adds to a story to hear about a player with so much potential possibly being stripped of any chances so young. If you dont remember a little recap. He crashed his truck into two trees on his way to practice earlier this season, and had major injuries all over his body. There was some speculation he would never be the same mentally or physically and while those still remain a possibility he is making some progress. He has been moved to Sheperd Center in Atlanta, and according to the teams website at his local school, he put on a hat and played with his cell phone on monday. He has been lifting his arms and legs and recently wiped his forehead with a towel on command. He has been fitted for a special wheelchair. More updates to come. Please continue to pray for the recovery of this young man.
