    So last night we got dinner downtown and then went back to her apartment to see a movie. While I was there and getting myself some water, I saw she had buttermilk. About halfway through the movie, I asked if she wanted a snack and she said sure...so I made my great great aunt Mae's biscuits from scratch. We had a few with butter and honey. She was THOROUGHLY impressed. "How do you make them without a recipe?" "Wait...you don't even measure?" "Is this some kind of wicked black magic?" "Oh my god these are good." So we finished the movie and the weather had officially turned...I said I would drive but she insisted that I stay...so I did, but on the couch. She said a few times that she hoped that didn't seem ridiculous and I reassured her it was fine and I certainly didn't have any expectations. This morning she made bacon and some eggs to go with the left over biscuits, etc. Really fun morning too.

    That's awesome man it's great that she felt comfortable enough to let you stay the night I'm glad things are going well and when you can impress women cooking that's always a great sign

    Dinner + Movie = a date
    Breakfast + Morning paper = a date

    I think we just moved 2 closer to pics.

    It was a full, comfy, awesome couch. Her dog slept on me half the night.

    And nope, she slept in her room with the door open "for the dog" haha.

    1. You spent the night on the couch, does she have a roommate? If so, was that weird?

    2. Did she invite you into her inner sanctum and you turned her down or was it never an option?

    3. Did she leave the door to her bedroom cracked, shut or shut and locked?

    4. Presumably you could have taken pics of her while she slept. Why not?

    5. Did she cook the bacon in her PJs or work clothes?

    Great play with the biscuits. That should go in the Great Dating Moves Hall of Fame.

    1) She has a one-bedroom place with a balcony...no roommate.

    2) It wasn't even discussed.

    3) Wide open. "For the dog". But I couldn't see her door from the couch or anything.

    4) I never said we have not TAKEN pictures. I said I wouldn't share any until date #6.

    5) PJs. Which were shorts with grizzly bears on them and a loose fitting Oregon State shirt.

    Well...this is the first series of dates I've been on since my mess in August/September. I'm not convinced I'm even ready to move towards intimacy. She knows the generalities of this and it just isn't a big deal.

    That'll happen when it happens.

    The bacon was chewy but not flimsy. It was really good no nitrate stuff.

    The eggs were scrambled. No cheese....she only had swiss and Im not a fan.
