Well, I was up first and was watching some tv with the dog's head across my lap. She walked in and said something to effect of "You meet her once and you're already her favorite? Not cool."
We chit chatted a bit and she wanted to make sure I slept well. I asked her how she couldn't tell because I snore a lot and she said she didn't even hear it. She was just in a fun mood, and it was nice to see her without makeup and being dressed up a bit. She's really a pretty girl.
She was mid-cooking eggs and she asked if that was the way I cooked them and I said no, so she wanted me to cook some too so we could compare. After she had mine, she didn't even want to eat hers lol. And then she said "I no longer have a loyal dog and I can't cook. Damnit, you're ruining me."
There was a nice kiss as I left too.

Morning y'all.
So last night we got dinner downtown and then went back to her apartment to see a movie. While I was there and getting myself some water, I saw she had buttermilk. About halfway through the movie, I asked if she wanted a snack and she said sure...so I made my great great aunt Mae's biscuits from scratch. We had a few with butter and honey. She was THOROUGHLY impressed. "How do you make them without a recipe?" "Wait...you don't even measure?" "Is this some kind of wicked black magic?" "Oh my god these are good." So we finished the movie and the weather had officially turned...I said I would drive but she insisted that I stay...so I did, but on the couch. She said a few times that she hoped that didn't seem ridiculous and I reassured her it was fine and I certainly didn't have any expectations. This morning she made bacon and some eggs to go with the left over biscuits, etc. Really fun morning too.
