Okay, here's my serious take it or leave it advice. Just my

1. From what I've read so far, she seems like a no nonsense kind of girl. The fact is, she is really into you. She likes you. There's no doubt. A girl isn't going to plan a whole surprise date and ask a favor from a friend for just anybody. So, tread carefully on the V Day stuff. I'd say fill her out in the morning. Send her a little text in the morning saying something like "Will you be my Valentine? :P" See how she reacts. One thing for certain, she's not going to cut you off for a week. From what I see so far, it looks like she likes you too much for that.

2. Based upon what you hear from her in the morning will be based upon what you do that afternoon. Just listen to what she may text about Valentine's Day, if anything at all. If you send flowers, don't play it off sappy. You've only had a couple of dates, so play it off funny. Send them with a card that says something like "Happy anti-Valentines Day!" Play around with something about how your sending these to hate Valentine's Day together. JMO

3. You need to get some confidence. You're the turf toe expert man. You're so bad ass you have the user name of a Tennessee legend who went down to Texas to kick ass and take names. You're so frigging badass that you studied Zoology, not because you like animals, but because you relate to them and you're an animal. You're a badass m'fer.

Finally, did you go in for a kiss after this date? If not, you need to definitely man up and go for it the next one.

Sounds like a fun date Crockett! You should be glad then you aren't 1 state to the west of you. Utah chicks start talking marriage on the first date. That is scary. Looks like you might have found one of the few sane women out there. Hope it all works out
